We love the lightweight silk fabric with a satin weave called "silk charmeuse". It is a lustrous, free flowing fabric that drapes and pleats beautifully, and is most favored by our clientele. The front of the fabric has a characteristic satin finish, while the back is matte... we use the matte side for all our shades! If you desire the shiny side, please specify Pearl.
