10 x 16 x 12.5 Cuffed Empire Stretched Surf Blue Silk Shantung with Trellis Border

A cuffed lampshade is one that has a vertical band along the bottom of a lampshade. A gallery lampshade is when the band accent is on top. This is a cuffed. I imagine this shade finding a home in bedroom with wonderful layers of blues turquoise and whites. The trellis tape and cord is by Samuel and Son's called Terrace Openwork Braid in their color surf. We sewed the flange of the Cambridge cord under the narrow bias self trim. This shade is sized for bedside lamps, console and desk lamps. The fabric has an irregular warp and weft and offers a lot of character. The shade measures 10" top, 16" bottom, 12.5" slant and has a brass washer spider. It requires a 10-10.5 inch harp.
