Foot Light Theater Stage Art Nouveau Antique

So many people have no idea what this gem is when I hand it to them... It is an original Pullman Railroad Sconce! It is made of brass and recessed along the stage walls and when opened by the push of the small round button, the light is angled into place, the electric currents come in contact with each other and voila, light! Could be mounted at the top of your staircase for company staying the night and need to find their way. Dated July 5 1904.
